Thank you, pLutorium. It was so hard losing him, I hope I at least gave him some happiness before he passed.

Thank you. I'm really bummed out seeing the empty tank next to me, but I don't know if I want to risk another loss right now. I hate to sound selfish, but I've lost two Bettas so close together (granted one was getting up there in age but still) and a rescued elderly special needs guinea pig that I tried to save with various medications and care but he developed a serious heart condition that even heart meds wouldn't cure. I don't know how many more losses my mental health can take so soon.
