Watch at highest quality HD to see his whiskers and spot and so on. Please excuse my algae.

I received this fish as a "mystery danio" from The Wet Spot. None of the employees there that day knew what it was. It does seem to be a danio, but it does have rather flat, big, silvery scales that aren't like other danios I've seen.

Some identifying features: Long pecs, silver color with very shiny scales, very long whiskers, single subtle lateral line stripe, no other stripes or spots along the body, dark spot near tail, dark moon shaped marking behind head.

Try searching Rose or pearl danio. I know Rose danio Danio roseus is new on the scene and very cool, comming in a variety of colors similar to that one.

Looks like a possible esomus metallicus (striped flying barb).

He looks very much like that, although someone else said, "[A striped flying barb's] stripe is much more prominent." Also, he has half-moon markings that are very distinctive behind his head. I do think he's probably some kind of "flying barb" with his extremely long barbels!
