Hey guys and girls, just thought I share some pics of my Ruby red spilo piranhas. It's a highly aggressive solo type piranha, just introduced into the fish hobby in the last few decades. Pretty rare still to acquire, but I have to say these guys are the most active, colourful and aggressive piranhas I have ever seen. Also known as the red throat gold piranhas. I'll try updating with clearer pics within the week, been posting with my cell phone so getting decent pics is pretty hard lol. Enjoy.

AquaScapeOnline.com, that's where I bought mine and had it import to Canada where I currently live. Check with your local laws regarding keeping piranhas in Your State. Here in Canada piranhas are legal in every province since they'll freeze to death if they are released into Canadian waters.

If you are currently living in Los Angeles like your previous topics imply, piranhas are illegal to own in California.
