My fish room has this thing where if you have two fish you'll end up with 5 billion more. Keeping true to that, the plecos have just laid a batch of eggs! Good thing I've had bbs for weeks for the 2 spawns of baby bettas and the giant spawn of angelfish...

It was not planned! They were the fish I was fish sitting. Apparently they all thought they were on a honeymoon vacation or something.

They are your typical brown BN plecos. I tried to get a good pic but I didn't have a good lighting. The eggs look like little green grapes. They are HUGE for the size of the momma!

I'm going to drive down to you and drop some fish off and let them "honeymoon" with you. :coverlaff: Sounds like your fishroom is where the action's at! :D

Apparently it is! The only fish that haven't made babies for me yet are the silver tipped tetras and that's just because they ate the eggs!

They aren't the ones who get gigantic, they get to be about 4 or 5", but they are currently closer to the 4". I didn't think they would spawn because they are still kind of in the "juvie" stage. I have them in a 29 right now.

Here's a bad picture of momma. She's not the typical brown, but almost black. Her spots are super tiny.

And here's dad looking after his grapes! He sits there and fans water onto them :)
