R.A.O.K
(Random Act Of Kindness)

This is dedicated to sending positive Karma out to all that visit here. A very simple idea, pay forward and make the world a little bit better.

I will start with offering a nice portion of "Dwarfted" Water Lettuce and a portion of Hornwort. Both are very good to reduce nitrates in an Aquarium. Hornwort can grow as much as 2" in a day. The Water Lettuce has been Dwarfed by not having full Sunlight and not enough nitrates, it basically has done such a good job there's not enough nitrates in my 20L so it will grow large. Most are just bigger than a quarter and look very nice in a smaller tank. My HMPK loves to hang under the Water Lettuce in between the feather roots as he stalks his flake food.

Floating plants also help to keep your Betta stress free which will reduce(not eliminate) the inclination to jump.

So the 1st person that responds to this offer will receive both plants. You will have to pay shipping $5.75.

To keep the Karma flowing, I would ask If you receive any R.A.O.K. from anyone on this thread, that you pay forward a R.O.A.K within a month. It isn't important that you post your R.A.O.K nor does it need to be here or have anything to do with Bettas.

Going to move this to Trading Post. I think it's a more appropriate sub-forum for it.
I'd love dwarf lettuce, except its illegal in Texas. So just as a note to everyone, check your state. :)
BTW, I think this thread is made of awesome and hope it is successful.

This thread is awesome, and I'd love to be a part of it! If you're shipping within the US I'm up for the plants :)

Can we post some RAOKs in here too?Because I have some plants I could let go.Dont need the floaters,or the hornwort(think it would benefit someone who needs plants and I dont just yet.)

This is a wonderful idea and I am sure someone will want your plants.

I have two :) but in the interest of fairness let's say one per person? Unless there's just no interest at all.

One ziploc bag with betta food. More than enough to feed one betta for several months or several bettas for at least a month.

It'll be a mixture of:
NLS Betta
Ken's Betta Crumbles
Betta Xtreme
HBH Betta bites
Atinson's (the regular blue lid kind).

And.. One ziploc bag with some of Ken's sinking veggie sticks with calcium. I used these to feed my snails but I'm currently snail-less so I have a little to give away. I'm pretty sure they work for all bottom feeders.

Shipping shouldn't be more than $2.

BOTH TAKEN

Ken's food is outstanding I feed that to my Betta and my Cherry shrimp. What the shrimp don't get the Ramshorns & MTS do. Great food! and a great R.A.O.K.

I can offer as much Taiwan moss that I can fit in a bag and then into a small flat rate box. The shipping for the small boxes are, what, $5?

Taiwan moss is a great plant for bettas & their owners that want to start with live plants. Like the Hornwort & Water lettuce, they are not demanding at all. I use Taiwan moss and I like it because it's soft not hard like Christmas tree moss and it doesn't grow crazy like Java moss.

That's a great R.A.O.K. Christina, thanks for offering it.
