so, female bettas confuse me. lol their tails don't usually look like much, other than a round tail. it's hard for me to tell the tail type of a female because of that, especially when she's a pet store find.

so, my newest girl, Caroline. beautiful girl, Cambodian colorings with some blue specks mixed into the stunning pinkish-red of her fins, and cute little black dots around her organs(not sure if it's her organs peeking out of her creamy skin, or just scale colors). beautiful sapphire eyes, a small white tip to her ventrils, and she's developed a black "mustache", which i gotta giggle about. needless to say, she's my second-favorite coloring in females(blueish-purple cambodian tieing with yellow for first)

so, here's the two pics i have left of her. if you can tell me her tail type by these, i'd greatly appreciate it! :3

^that's a good shot of her tails. her rays are strange, and look closer together than they are, i *think* i see four splits on them, but i'm not 100%, and my camera doesn't get close enough to see. x-X also, her anal fin's completely healed, and is getting the red back. :3 her little pec fin that was nipped also healed up. she's a healthy little lady, she is!

as with all my bettas, tail type isn't important, i just love knowing. :3 i don't plan on breeding her, so it's just my curiosity that wants to know. :3

No offence but her fins look a little(very) riped up, do you know what did that? she is pretty anyways, as for ray splitting i dont know the science of that subject. still, hina says she is a vt. Very pretty.

i know exactly what did that. XD it's more of a who. :D she was like that when i got her, so i'm guessing a sibling or another female betta did it while she was at the pet store. it's all healed up now, and gaining the red back. :3 i'll have to get new pics of her all pretty again. :D
