They are just ADORABLE! I used to breed ABN LF, and there is nothing like seeing a horde of them in a tank! Yours are just great! I've always been a fan of cats, they are just so interesting!

thanks.

i'm being selfish and holding them in a holding tank inside the main tank... because i know once i let them out i will never seen them as the tank is heavily planted and is a hide and seek playground for all fish kind !!!

soooo cute !!!

they are possible long fins.. the guy had them mixed all together so it was a luck of the draw. and being so small it was impossible to tell... time will tell....

How cute! :mf_lustslow:

I bet you'll see them in your main tank more than you'd expect, though... IME captive bred catfish are out and about a whole lot more than wild caught are. And IME BNs are active in the day more than most other pleco species.

I've always noticed, since they are little piggys, that when you feed them up towards the front of the tank, then you tend to see them more. They will sit and wait to get fed. When they are bigger you will see them quite a bit. I don't THINK they are LF, as even at that size they tend to look it, but if they are all from the same parents they will carry the gene for LF, I don't know if you plan to breed, but... there it is. heh! Congrats on them, they are just amazing little critters! *swoon*

Depending on when you got rid of your platy fry, and how big the new "tiny baby platys" are, you may have a new drop. Female platys can drop 20 to 40 fry every month, and since they can hold sperm from previous inseminations for several months, they can keep producing fry for several months after their last contact with a male. I just assume that any or all of my adult female platys, guppies, and mollies are pregnant at any given moment! :coverlaff:

edit: I almost forgot to tell you that your new little cats are awfully cute! I hope you still see them from time to time.

They are dolls!

As for names, I once had two lovebirds that I could NOT tell apart. I named them Johnson & Johnson. :lolsign:
