Hey all!

Just got my hands on a pair of kribensis. The male is stunning - about 3 inches long and very colourful. The female is small and has not coloured up at all. I think she might be stressed as she is 'panting' and stays up by the filter. Looks healthy though.

I've only got them in a 17 gallon tank that they are sharing with a panchax. Do you think this is big enough? They will be moved to a 29 gallon in the summer but I can't set that tank up yet =(

I'd love to see some pictures of your kribs and their tanks! I want some ideas for scaping mine.

how long have they been in the tank? could be she is getting bullied while he sets his dominance with them being in a new territory

give them some caves to run to and they will be happy.

They've only been in there since Sunday and I think the male is . . . asserting himself. Hopefully this is the cause and she isn't sick. I've come back to my parents' house for Christmas so we'll see how she is when I get back on Sunday. Really didn't want to leave them, but Christmas isn't optional.

She didn't make it =( came home to find a skeleton.

Just got the male (who is looking fantastic) and my ever-hungry panchax now.
