My question is what type of cichlid is the brown one and is it a female? and what kind is the yellow and is that a male?

They both look like mbuna to me (african rock dwelling cichlids). The first looks like a mutt and like it may be female. Could you get a side picture of the second one? It's hard to tell what it is at that angle. Looks like it could be an albino red zebra, hard to tell if it's male.

First one looks female and looks to be a Rusty Cichlid (Idotropheus Sprengerae)and the second pic shows a red eye (is it albino?)which would make it hard to identify, but would need a side view.

Maybe it's a rusty. How big are these fish? The head doesn't look right at all to me to be a rusty. If the fish is still pretty small then that could explain the head shape.

Nice video! After seeing that I agree with the brownish one being a rusty. I also think the other one is an albino red zebra.

So is the brown one a female? and is the zebra a male? i was wondering because they seem to like each other and i cant seem to add any other cichlids to the tank which is fine. I was just wondering if i have to worry about babies or not so should i get rid of the plants and just do rocks and clay pots?

With these type of cichlids it can be difficult to tell the gender just by looking at them. How big is your tank? You may be able to add some more and give these little guys some friends. With mbuna, having an understocked tank can lead to one fish killing off all the others. If your plants are real plants then you may want to remove them. Mbuna are herbivores and enjoy tearing apart plants.
