Got the go ahead from Mrs Winchester lastnight to purchase us a new tank wubby.gif. Shall be 6x2x2, about 180gals and probably collect it next weekend smile-222.gif.

I'm going to shuffle around fish and some current fish will be moving to the new tank. Oscar ("boss"), JD, jewel, small GT's and 2 sailfin plec's. There should be room for an addition or two there. It will also free up space in other tanks for few more new additions. We are also considering giving up the FH which will completely free up another 4 foot.

Asking for suggestions on species anyone thinks I should consider for addition to new world tanks?

Also suggestions for what to do with empty 4 foot? Thinking something a bit different.

Also suggestions on decor etc for the new 180? ..all my current decor is in use and it's going to be a lot of space to fill up so it doesn't look like a desert.

Also any suggestions on filtration options I should consider for 180gal? Would like to go with a sump but that means a lot more work when I need to move house so am undecided. I also would like 10-15x water turnover an hour if possible.

So yeah basically want a lot of suggestions coverlaugh1.gif.

Fnser, get a small pond filter? :]

Really, that's the most efficient method that I see.. Something that's rated for a 700g (or 1400) koi pond would likely give you the filtration that you desire.

not really its just a problem trying to install the pump inside the tank (big and ugly) so some sort of overflow into a compartment big enough for the pump to get it out the way or something like that?
