This is my male peacock gudgeon. He's still developing his cephalic hump (like some cichlids).
This is my female peacock gudgeon. Notice her more slender head and plump belly?
I love these fish! Extremely easy to take care of-- eating frozen bloodworms and live blackworms, typical water parameters, and never aggressive to other species. Curious fish, though... they will watch me work around my room.
I'm going to set up a spawning tank and when/if I'm successful I'll post some pictures of the fry. They are slow growing so it'll be a while.
