Hi everyone! Just a quick question (maybe stupid). I won and auction for a metallic green gas hmpk on Aquabid from Interbettas which would be Mr. Sanya Ponpal. I sent an e-mail shortly afterr receiving the notification from Aquabid. This was two nights ago, but I haven't received a reply yet. Is this normal? I've only gotten bettas from 2 sellers so far 84elmo2001 and Patsayawan and they've both contacted me in less than 24 hours, so I was just wondering. Thanks in advance for any information.

That's true.... I just panicked a bit. My first overseas purchase you see, but everything's taken care of now. So all that's left is to wait. =)

I've found that many times, the Thai breeders take a little longer to get back to you, and I think it's for 3 reasons:

1) they sell LOTS of fish and getting back to everyone is a big chore
2) the language barrier makes it take even longer to respond to everyone
3) they only send out fish every 2 weeks so there's no hurry to get back to you and get your fish out ASAP like with American breeders

I'm glad it got handled for you!

I've purchased from Sanya before. Excellent breeder...only the best bettas are sold! One of my bettas arrived dead and Sanya said he/she will replace it during the next shipment.

Sanya was very quick at responding to my emails, always within 24 hours, but lately I guess his/her email box is full and that is why I've been receiving email messages that say "email could not be send. returned email...transcript, etc". Sanya is a very reputable seller, so I'm sure you'll be hearing back soon! Don't worry about it!

You could just try to send Sanya another email soon and see what happens. The email might not have gone through previously.
