Skyker, there is a good chance they will not eat pellets. They do have a kind of mottled apperance, but keep an eye to see if it worsens or not. I would recommend getting frozen bloodworms, or a mix of frozen foods soon for them to eat. Also, keep in mind these guys do not like incredibly warm water, so if you're keeping your betta at close to 80 or over, you may want to consider moving this guys into a seperate habitat.
Also, as a note to everyone, you may want to start your own topic if you have questions or need help with your ADF, rather than posting it on a care sheet.
