An Area 1 International Show August 11th and 12th 2007 hosted by the VanPort Betta Fanciers.

Only singles available (late booking) at $79 a night. Mention VanPort Betta when making reservation for rate.

Mail ins should arrived by Friday August 10th 5PM. Walk ins please contact Show Chair to arrange.

Entry fees: $2 single; $3 group.
Make checks payable to: Monica Hopkins.

Usual auction splits of: Show fish 75% seller, 25% club.
Auction only fish 50% seller, 50% club.

CASH ONLY for auction payment.

Custom flat ribbons will be issued in all classes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. For a representation of these see photo in the BetterBettas photo section (members only):

Do they sell at shows like this? And if so does anyone know how much the fish usually go for?

Fish sales are usually the auctioned fish which normally is the second day of the show. Some can be fish that were sent to the show to be shown, some can be fish sent by the person to be sold only. The price of an auctioned fish is usually from $10 to $25.
Any other sales is set by the specific club.
